Matthew Joseph (b. 1989) is a Brooklyn-based visual storyteller specializing in portrait, street, and documentary photography.
After earning his BFA in Communication Design at New York City College of Technology, Matthew Joseph pursued a career in graphic design: developing branding and print media for several clients.
In 2015, Matthew he began embracing photography and evoked a passion for visual storytelling that has blossomed into talent.
Matthew’s professional background in design and attention to detail has greatly influenced his photographic style — a style characterized by his strong use of lines, color, and contrast. His body of work comprises a wide of subjects and he enjoys capturing authentic moments through portraiture and documentary photography.
Matthew currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
